I’m Elijah De-Graft Turkson, popular known as Deturk. I am a tech,desk and office setup enthusiast. I am also a fitness hardcore enthusiast. I run a nonprofit, a YouTube channel, instagram account and I recently launched a media/ setup company where I help people design, build and setup dream workspaces, revamps people’s setups and office spaces as well. I love sharing my honest opinion about tech, anything smart, ergonomic and experiences with my community and others.

This is a difficult one but I will go with my monitor stand from Mount-IT because it has some cool RGB colors, also the fast cars(legos),it shows my love for cars and not just any car but fast and smart cars. Lastly my MX keyboard and Mice which helps speed up my workflow.

I read a lot of entrepreneurial books like, Zero to One, Why Startups fail,$100 Startup, Leaders Eat Last and more. When it comes to Podcast, I love 10minute MBA.

I have a busy schedule haha…a typical day for me involves waking up at 4am, freshening up, working out for a while, then cleaning up to prepare for work. I do most of my editing either on my computer or phone while on the train to work. I sometimes have meetings with my team in Africa around 7:45 am MST. On weekends though, I wake up at 5am, shoot videos and write business stuff, spend 2-3 hours at the gym then unwind and spend time with the fam and some friends. I also sketch and design some setup ideas and layouts.

Start with what you have, DIY is fun and saves you alot, it doesn’t hurt to reach out to companies or brands if you have a small following.

Oh yes! Do not wait to have all the expensive stuff to start, just start with what you have and as time goes on you will add up while learning to improve. Forget about the huge numbers and be authentic. I started my setup when I lost my Dad and this has been a huge therapy for me. Remember a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.
