I am a Content Manager for a Bicycle parts distributor, and i createTech content on the side for Social Media.

I got into creating my desk setup about 5 years ago, at which time it was just a laptop connected to an old TV. From there i saved to buy my own PC for a year or two and then got an Alienware R5, after a year or two of having that i saved for the parts to build my own custom PC. After that i started posting pictures to Instagram because my wife had started a book instagram and i thought it seemed like fun.

My setup is very much an RGB heavy aesthetic, i just was always drawn to the lights and overall vibe that could be achieved through use of RGB. It can be calming, or a party atmosphere depending on your mood.

My advice, if they plan to try and create content around it, would be to just start. Nothing needs to be perfect. The most important part is taking that first step. Create your own vibe or style and just keep at it. If they don't plan on creating content then just build whatever brings them happiness or works best for their intended use.

My best tip is to design what works best for you, Setups are very personal and should have your own style involved. You don't have to start with anything over the top. Its something you should make to best suit yourself and you can slowly add to it and upgrade over time.

My typical day seems me working from 9 - 7, after work i eat and then either game for an hour or two or create my own content. I'm always working on something.
