Hexcal × Design Shenzhen 2025: Merging Work, Creativity, and Esports Design
Shenzhen, China – September 2025 – The four-day Design Shenzhen 2025, Asia’s leading consumer technology and interior design event, concluded successfully. This year’s exhibition gathered nearly 200 design brands from over 30 countries and regions, attracted close to 40,000 professional visitors, and featured two major conferences that brought together more than 120 global leaders from design, technology, and business.
As a landmark platform in the Greater Bay Area, Design Shenzhen aims to explore the convergence of consumer technology, luxury home design, and commercial design, presenting forward-looking solutions for future lifestyles. Curated highlights such as E-Space, Re:Materialize, WELLFORM, madedit, GOOD DESIGN SELECT, and WellConnect offered unique insights into global design trends, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Among these, E-Space, conceived by AS.studio, stood out as an immersive esports-inspired feature. Drawing on the metaphor of a “nest,” the installation redefined the esports environment by balancing high-tech aesthetics with human warmth, inviting visitors into a multidimensional journey where the virtual and real coexist.

Within this diverse and international context, Hexcal presented its full range of premium workspace technology solutions, drawing significant attention from designers, creators, and visitors. Central to Hexcal’s showcase was the recreation of the 2025 Hexcal World Desk Setup Festival Champion’s workspace, brought to life with Hexcal’s complete product ecosystem.
Redefining the Modern Desktop
For Hexcal, the desktop has never been merely a surface for devices, but a core environment for inspiration, focus, and productivity. At Design Shenzhen, Hexcal’s minimalist yet highly functional solutions resonated strongly with attendees who experienced the harmony of order, efficiency, and aesthetics—an embodiment of Hexcal’s vision of the desktop as a catalyst for creativity and clarity.

Aligned with the E-Space theme of Design Shenzhen 2025, Hexcal also showcased a forward-looking interpretation of the esports desktop, guided by the philosophy of “Minimal · Efficient · Inspired.” This approach emphasized not only immersive performance but also design coherence and spatial order, reflecting how gaming spaces are evolving into lifestyle hubs for the next generation.
