You should also bear in mind that not every surface is suitable for such a weight. A cheaper IKEA desk will have its flaws if so much weight presses against one spot. However, if you have a desk with a hole in the top, you can easily attach the Hexcal monitor arm using the enclosed part.

Another plus point is that the monitor arm does not touch our wall. Although this is not the case with our IKEA monitor arm, it is not really resilient.
