Tell us a bit about yourself.
Husband and father of 4. I work for a telecommunications company. I am a veteran and besides enjoying cool setups I love cars, anime, and gaming. I drive a R35 GTR and I game on my PS5 and Xbox Series X.
What’s your favorite item on your desk?
Hexcal Studio. It simplified my desk setup by allowing me to plug all my desktop items in its provided outlets. This makes swapping out products very quick and efficient.
What books, blogs, or podcasts recently caught your attention?
I don’t really listen to blogs or podcasts. I primarily read books that revolve around IT or scripture.
What's your desk setup aesthetics?
Simple and minimal with a few large pieces placed strategically. Balanced design with a dark theme and minimal RGB.
When did you start to work on your desk setup?
2021, but I didn’t get serious until 2022.
What does your typical day look like？
My day revolves around getting my kids ready for school prior to work. I have a hybrid work schedule which allows me to WFH 3 days a week.
What niche interest are you up to recently?
Anime Resin Figure collecting.
Your advice for beginners getting into Desk Setup.
Plan your build carefully. Draw it out and measure everything. Don’t compare your setup to others with more expensive equipment. Save up for quality pieces and invest once to avoid replacements. Not all name brands guarantee quality. Watch YouTube reviewers for inspiration, especially those who review different setups.
Any tips for other makers who want to improve their workspaces?
Making incremental changes is often more cost-effective than a complete redesign. To keep your setup engaging, rotate through different items regularly. For example, I switch out my desk mats, keyboards, and mice each month to prevent my workspace from feeling boring.
